After careers in law, social work and psychotherapy (all in England) and two years of study at Yakar in Jerusalem, I entered AJR,Ca in 2003.
While still a student and intern at the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging, I was appointed acting rabbi of the Home’s Grancell Village campus early in 2006; and full rabbi following my ordination in 2007.
In 2011 I was appointed to the post of Skirball Director of Spiritual Life at the Jewish Home.
I retired in October 2014.
