Rabbi Bouskila describes Rabbi Meir Abitbol, z/l, as the redeemer of Sephardic Torah. He was instrumental in establishing The Sephardic Library—a new publishing house focused on the publication of Sephardic texts. Rabbi Bouskila personally knew Rabbi Abitbol, who passed away recently, during the week between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.
