Rabbi Mintz is the Rabbi Emerita of Congregation P’nai Tikvah, now a part of Temple Sinai, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chairperson of the Foundation at the Federation, She is a Member of the Board of OHALAH, AJR/CA, the Board of Rabbis of Southern Nevada, the Jewish Federation of Southern Nevada, the Jewish Family Services Agency, Florence Melton School for Adult Jewish Learning, the Clark County Ministerial Association Ministerial Association, and the Interfaith Council of Southern Nevada. Rabbi Mintz is a past-President of the Board of Rabbis of Nevada and of OHALAH. She is the granddaughter of Rabbi Israel Porath (zt”l) and is the first woman in 18 generation of rabbis in her family.
Widow of the late Alan P. Mintz, M.D., she is the mother of four sons, grandmother of 14 (plus 2), and is often seen in the company of her trusty German Shepherd, Shepsi.
