A recognized and respected expert in the field of Jewish education, Rabbi Chaplain Yehoshua “Shuki” Gabbai has spent over two decades leading Jewish Day Schools both in Israel and the United States. A native Israeli, Shuki completed the Yeshivat Hesder Rabbinical Program (Kiryat Arbah, Israel) and went on to receive a Teaching Diploma in Talmud and Bible from Moreshet Ya’akov (Rehovot, Israel), a Certificate in Child Centric Study from Tel Aviv University’s School of Education, a Certificate in School Management and Principal Education from Bar !Ian University’s School of Education (Ra mat Gan, Israel), and a BA in Psychology from Burlington College (Burlington, VT). He holds smicha from the Chief Rabbi of Migdal Ha’ernek affiliated with the Chief Rabbinical Counsel of Israel
Upon graduation, Rabbi (Chaplain) Gabbai will continue working as the head of the Hebrew department at Yeshivat Yavneh
