Candi serves as a hospice and community chaplain in the Temecula Valley of the Inland Empire. Candi has a part-time counseling practice out of her home, facilitates a monthly cancer support group and av Women’s Jewish spirituality group.

Batshir is the Senior Jewish Educator at the JCC in San Francisco where she feels privileged to lead community members and staff in learning, playing, and discovering through text and ritual. In addition, Batshir is the interim rabbi at Am Tikvah in San Francisco, and rabbinic lead at Kehillah SF, two unique Egalitarian Bay Area communities.
I was ordained by AJRCA in 2007. Since then, I have been working as the community rabbi in Desert Hot Springs, CA, doing monthly Shabbat services as well as holiday observances.
Grew up in Pittsburgh, Pa. Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors in Education. Received a Masters Degree in Counseling from Calif. State Univ. Long Beach.
Rabbi Mindie Snyder embodies over thirty years of experience in arts, health, and human services. She is an award-winning artist, designer, therapist and community organizer.
